💳 Charging a Customer for a No-Show

Last updated on Nov 18, 2025

You can charge a client’s card on file for a no-show.

✨ Here’s How

  1. Open the appointment

Go to your Calendar and select the booking for the client you want to charge.

  2. Confirm there’s a card on file

The client’s profile will appear at the top of the appointment. Make sure they have a saved card — this is required to process the charge.

  3. Tap Checkout

Begin the checkout process just like a normal sale.

  4. Skip rebooking (if asked)

If you are prompted about rebooking, continue without selecting any rebooking options.

  5. Adjust the no-show charge (if needed)

If you charge a reduced fee rather than the full service price:

    • Tap the service in the checkout list.

    • Select Add a Discount.

    • Choose or add a No Show Discount (e.g., 50% or your custom value).

    • Tap Save to apply the discount.

  6. Continue to payment

Tap Continue to advance to the payment options.

  7. Charge the card on file

Choose Card on File, review the amount, then tap Charge to finalize the transaction.

  8. Send the receipt

Once the payment is processed, you can send the client a digital receipt.

✅ Tip: After charging, the appointment will show as Paid, and you can review the transaction from the receipt screen anytime.
