👤 Edit a Client’s Details Within an Appointment

Need to make a quick update to a client’s information while viewing their appointment? Here’s how to do it in just a few taps. ✨ Here’s How 1. Open the Appointment  Click or tap on the client’s appointment in your calendar. 2. Edit the Client’s Details  • Select the client’s name within the appointment window.  • Tap Edit in the top-right corner.  • Update the client’s information as needed. 3. Save Your Changes  • Tap Save once you’re done.  • The updated details will be saved instantly across your account. ✅ All set! You’ve successfully updated your client’s details right from the appointment window.

📧 Exporting Your Client Email List to CSV for Mailchimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, Flodesk and More

You can easily export your client emails from salonMonster to a CSV file for use in email marketing tools like Mailchimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, or Flodesk. ✨ Here’s How 1. Open the Menu ☰  From the main menu, select Clients to open your client list. 2. Select Staff or Salon  • If you’re a solo stylist, your client list will be displayed automatically.  • If you’re part of a multi-staff salon, you can export your own clients or all salon clients (if you have permission).  • To do this, go to the top of the page and select the appropriate staff member or All Staff. 3. Open More Options  Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner to open additional tools. 4. Choose an Export Option  • Export to CSV – creates a general CSV file you can open in Excel, Numbers, or import into any email platform.  • Export Mailchimp List – exports a file formatted specifically for Mailchimp.  • Export Full Client List – includes more client data beyond email addresses. 5. Download the File  The export process will run, and the CSV file will download to your device once it’s ready. 6. Import into Your Marketing Tool  Use the downloaded CSV to import your client list into your preferred marketing service. ✅ All set! Your client emails are ready to use in your email marketing platform. 📬 Friendly reminder: Please make sure your marketing emails follow local anti-spam and privacy laws (like CASL in Canada, CAN-SPAM in the U.S., or GDPR in the EU). Only email clients who have opted in to receive updates from you — and always include your business name and address in your emails. 🗓️ Viewing a Client’s Booking History

You can easily view all of a client’s past and upcoming bookings in just a few clicks. ✨ Here’s How 1. Open the Client List From the Menu ☰, select Clients to open your client list. 2. Select the Client Click on the client whose history you’d like to see. 3. View Their Bookings At the top of their profile, select the BOOKINGS tab. You’ll now see all previous and upcoming appointments, including any service notes. 4. Open a Specific Booking Click on any booking in the list to see its full details. ✅ Tip: You can also open any booking directly from your calendar, then select the Bookings tab to view their entire booking history.

🛑 Disabling Online Booking for a Client

Open the Client List From the Menu ☰, select Clients to open your client list. 2. Select the Client Tap or click on the client whose online booking you want to disable. 3. Edit Client Details Select Edit in the top right corner of their profile. 4. Disable Online Booking Scroll to the bottom of the page and toggle off Can Book Online. This will prevent the client from scheduling new appointments through online booking. 5. Save Changes Tap Save to confirm. ✅ Tip: You can re-enable online booking for the client at any time by turning the Can Book Online option back on.

💌 Subscribing or Unsubscribing a Client from Your Emails

You can easily manage whether a client receives your marketing emails directly from their profile. ✨ Here’s How 1. Open the salonMonster app. 2. From the ☰ Menu, select Clients to open your client list. 3. Tap the client whose email preferences you’d like to update. 4. Select Edit on the client’s detail page. 5. Scroll down until you see Subscribed to Marketing Emails. 6. Turn the switch on if you want them to receive marketing emails, or off to unsubscribe them. 7. Tap Save at the bottom of the page. ✅ Tip: Clients can also unsubscribe themselves from your emails using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing message.
