📥 Importing Your Existing Data

Moving to a new system shouldn’t mean starting over. At salonMonster, we make your transition smooth by importing your existing data so you can continue right where you left off — with all your clients, appointments, and business details intact. 🔄 Common Imports We can import your data from: - Acuity - Booker - DaySmart Software - Fresha - GlossGenius - Goldie - Click4Time - Milano - MindBody - Phorest - Rosy Salon Software - Schedulicity - SetMore - Shortcuts Software - Square (SquareUp) - Timely - Vagaro - Zenoti - …and many more! 📦 What Can Be Imported? - 👥 Clients - 🧾 Services - 📅 Appointments / Bookings - 👤 Staff - 🧴 Products - 🎁 Gift Cards The actual data we can import is dependant on what your existing software can export. ⏱️ How Long Does It Take? The full process usually takes 1–3 business days from start to finish. 📂 What File Format Do We Need? We require exports in either: - CSV format, or - Excel (XLS/XLSX) format, or - .ics or ical Subscription format ℹ️ In some cases, we can work with other formats — but CSV or Excel is preferred. 📤 Ready to Start? - Email your exported files to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. ✅ Don’t see your system listed? 🔄 Moving from Fresha to salonMonster

We can copy over your Clients, and (optionally) your Bookings and Products so you don’t lose any history when switching to salonMonster. Follow the steps below to export each dataset from Fresha and send it to us. 👥 Export Your Clients 1. Open Fresha. 2. Go to Clients and click the three dots in the top-right corner. 3. Choose Export and select CSV (Excel also works, but CSV is preferred). 4. Click the share icon and email the export to support@salonmonster.com. 📅 Export Your Bookings (Optional) 1. Open Fresha. 2. Go to Reports → Appointments list. 3. Set the date range to All time. 4. Click Options → Export → CSV. 5. A file will download to your computer — email it to support@salonmonster.com. 💡 Tip: If your file is very large, you can export by year or by smaller date ranges and send multiple files. 🧴 Export Your Products (Optional) 1. Open Fresha. 2. Go to Reports → Inventory. 3. Select Stock on hand. 4. Choose Export → CSV. 5. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. 📤 Send Your Files Once you’ve exported the datasets you want us to migrate, email them to support@salonmonster.com (or send them via the in-app messenger). We’ll import the data and let you know when everything’s ready. ✅ That’s it! 🔄 Moving from Vagaro to salonMonster

We can import your clients, bookings, products, services and client notes from Vagaro so you don’t have to start from scratch. Just export the data from Vagaro and send it to us — we’ll handle the rest. 🪄 👥 Export Your Clients 1. Click Reports (top of the screen). 2. In the left sidebar, click Customers (under Customers). 3. Click Advanced Filters. 4. Under Service Provider, choose the employee(s) whose customers you want to export (use All if available to include everyone). 5. Click Run Report. 6. Click Export (bottom of the screen) to download an Excel file. 7. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. 💡 Tip: If you have multiple service providers and no “All” option, export per provider and send all files. 📅 Export Your Bookings For each employee: 1. Go to Settings. 2. Click Employee Profiles. 3. Click the three dots beside the employee’s name. 4. Select Sync Calendar. 5. At the bottom, choose Sync Apple Calendar. 6. Turn Share calendar On. 7. Confirm the time zone is correct. 8. Copy the URL from the second field beneath the time zone. 9. Repeat for each additional employee. 10. Send us each calendar URL along with the employee’s name. ℹ️ We’ll use these URLs to retrieve each employee’s appointments for import. 🧴 Export Your Products 1. Go to Settings → Inventory → Management. 2. (Optional) Use Search and Advanced Filter to limit which products you export. 3. Click Search after applying filters. 4. Click Export to download the inventory list to Excel. 5. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. 📤 Export Your Services 1. Go to Settings → Employees → Employee Profiles. 2. In the employee’s Status column, select Services. 3. At the top of the screen, select the Download button, then save the list as an Excel file. 4. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. 🗒️ Customer Notes Please note that Vagaro does not provide a standard Notes Report, so we may not always be able to import this data — it depends on how the Excel file is formatted. You can still send it to us for review, and we’ll check whether it can be imported. Unfortunately, this report can only be run one customer at a time. ✨ How to Export Customer Notes 1. Select Customers at the top of the screen. 2. Choose the customer whose notes you want to export. 3. Click the Notes tab. 4. Export the notes in Excel format. 📘 View Vagaro’s Guide on Exporting Customer Notes 📤 Send Your Files - Email your client/product exports and booking calendar URLs to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import everything and let you know as soon as it’s complete. ✅ That’s it! 🔄 Moving from DaySmart Software to salonMonster

We can import your clients, bookings, and products from DaySmart so you don’t have to start from scratch. Follow the steps below to export your data and send it to us—then we’ll handle the import. 🪄 ℹ️ Heads-up about DaySmart exports: Many users report they cannot export everything themselves in DaySmart. In those cases, contact DaySmart Support and request a one-time export. They often send clients/products/services (sometimes gift cards) and occasionally appointments—but frequently only an XML backup we cannot use. If that happens, ask them specifically for CSV or Excel (XLS/XLSX) files for Clients and Appointments. 📦 What We Can Import - 👥 Client details - 📅 Bookings (appointments) - 🧴 Products You can choose which items to import—no need to send everything. 👥 Export Your Clients from DaySmart 1. Click the Reports tab. 2. Choose Customer Reports. 3. In Filters, keep All … for each option to include everyone. 4. Under Include in Report, select as many demographic/details fields as possible. 5. Run Report and export to Excel. 6. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. ⚠️ If the report is very large: DaySmart may show an alert or time out. Try limiting the date range (or split into multiple exports) and re-run. 📅 Export Your Bookings from DaySmart 1. Click the Reports tab. 2. Select Appointment Report. 3. Set the date range for the appointments to export. - For multiple years, run a separate report per year (we recommend exporting all history). 4. Appointment Status Types: choose which to include; we typically recommend excluding Cancelled. 5. In Include in Report, check all items to capture full details. 6. Choose Microsoft Excel as the export option and run the report. 7. Email the file(s) to support@salonmonster.com. ⚠️ Internal Server Error / timeouts: If the connection times out, reduce the date range and export in batches. 📤 Send Your Files - Email your exports to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import your data and confirm when everything is ready. ✅ That’s it! 🔄 Moving from Rosy Salon Software to salonMonster

Follow the steps below to export each dataset, then send the files to us — we’ll handle the rest. 🪄 📦 What We Can Import - 👥 Client details - 📅 Bookings - 🧴 Products You can choose which items to include. 👥 Export Your Clients (Rosy) 1. Click Reports (top of the screen). 2. Under General, click Clients. 3. Leave Filter Type set to All, then click Export. 4. Leave Format set to XLSX and click I can wait for it. 5. Wait a few minutes, then check your email for the export link/file. 📅 Export Your Bookings (Rosy) 1. Click Reports (top of the screen). 2. Under General, click Appointments. 3. Set the Start Date and End Date to cover the bookings you want to import. 4. Click Run Detail Report. 5. Click Export to Excel and download the file. 🧴 Export Your Products (Rosy) 1. Click Reports (top of the screen). 2. Under Inventory, click Inventory Levels. 3. Leave the settings as-is and click Run Report. 4. Click Export to Excel and download the file. 📤 Send Your Files - Email your downloaded files to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import your data and confirm when everything’s ready. ✅ That’s it! 🔄 Moving from Square (SquareUp) to salonMonster

Sign in to your online Square account to open your Square Dashboard. 2. Select Customers in the options menu on the left 3. Select Directory 4. Select Import/Export to expand the menu 5. Select Export Customers 6. Select All Customers 7. Select Export to build the report 8. Select Download to save the file to your device 📅 Export Your Appointments (Square) 1. From the Square Dashboard, click on Appointments on the left 2. Navigate to Settings 3. Click on the History tab to view your appointment history 4. Click Export in the top-right corner 5. The file will save to your device 🧴 Export Your Products (Square) 1. Select Items in your online Square Dashboard. 2. Click Items. 3. Click Actions. 4. Choose Export Library. 5. Select CSV or Excel (either format works). 📤 Send Your Files - Email your exported files to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. 🔄 Moving from Schedulicity to salonMonster

We can import both your client records and appointments from Schedulicity so you don’t lose any history when switching to salonMonster. 👥 Export Your Client List 1. Log in to the Schedulicity website. 2. Go to My Business → Settings. 3. Find the Complete Client List report. 4. Export the report to Excel. 5. Email the file to support@salonMonster.com. 📅 Export Your Appointments ⚠️ Some people have reported that using the Agenda View option makes it easier to download all staff appointments in one file. While we can’t confirm this officially, it might save you time. If not, here’s how to export appointments staff by staff: 1. Log in to the Schedulicity website. 2. Go to My Business → Reports. 3. From the settings panel, select Schedule by Provider/Instructor. 4. Choose the staff member and date range you want to export. 5. Export the data to Excel. 6. Email the file to support@salonMonster.com. 👉 Note: - Appointment data can only be exported one staff member at a time. - If the exporter times out, break your exports into smaller date ranges (for example, by year). - Be sure to include both past and future appointments. 📤 Import to salonMonster Once you’ve exported your client list and appointments: - Email them to support@salonMonster.com, or - Send them directly through the messenger in the app. We’ll take it from there! Click the Reports tab (main menu). 2. Choose Client overview. 3. Click Edit columns and select: First name Last name Mobile Phone Email address Company Address 1 Address 2 Suburb / City / State / Postcode Date of birth 4. Click Export → Export CSV. 💡 Tip: Include as many contact fields as possible so we can match clients cleanly to their appointments. 📅 Export Your Bookings from Timely 1. Click the Reports tab. 2. Select Appointment schedule. 3. Set Date range to All time (or pick a range). - We recommend All time for a complete client history. 4. Click View report. 5. After it loads, click Download → CSV. 📤 Send Your Files - Email your exports to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import your data and let you know when everything is ready. ✅ That’s it! SetMore will email a CSV file to the account owner’s email. 4. Open the email from SetMore and follow the instructions to download your CSV. 5. Email the file to support@salonmonster.com. 📅 Export Your Bookings 1. Log into the SetMore web app: https://go.setmore.com. 2. Go to Settings → Booking Page → Reports. 3. Use the dropdowns to set the date range. - We can import your entire booking history. - If exporting all history doesn’t work well, SetMore suggests exporting in 3-month batches. We can re-assemble the batches. 4. Click Generate to create the report (it may take a few moments). 5. Click Generate Report to pull your data (it may take a few moments). 6. Click Export as .XLS to download the spreadsheet. 📤 Send Your Files - Email your exported files to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import your data and confirm when everything’s ready. ✅ That’s it! We can import your Clients, Services, and Bookings from GlossGenius so you don’t have to start from scratch. Here’s how to export what you can directly, and what to request from GlossGenius support. 👥 Export Your Clients 1. Log into GlossGenius via a web browser. 2. Click Clients from the navigation menu. 3. Select Export Clients. 4. Your client list will download as a .CSV file, including: - Name - Email - Phone - Date of Birth - Banned ℹ️ Note: Client notes are not included in this export. If you need them, contact GlossGenius support and they can provide the data. 📋 For Teams Accounts - Only the Account Owner can request a full client list export. - If a team member needs the full list, the Account Owner must contact GlossGenius support to make the request. 📅 Export Your Bookings - GlossGenius does not currently offer a manual export option for appointments. - To get your bookings, you will need to contact GlossGenius support and request an export. 🧾 Export Your Services - GlossGenius does not currently offer a manual export option for services. - To get your services, you will need to contact GlossGenius support and request an export. 📤 Send Your Files - Email your exported files (or any data provided by GlossGenius support) to support@salonmonster.com, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. Go to Main menu → Reports. 2. In Reports, open Menu → Client list. 3. Choose demographics (required). We usually set: last visit date before next year. 4. Click the interactive button to show more columns. 5. Click Print → Export → Text (Comma). 🧴 Export Your Products (Milano) 1. Go to Main menu → Reports → Menu → Listings. 2. Open Product → Retail. 3. Ensure all codes are selected in From & To (usually selected by default). 4. Click Print → Export → Text (Comma). 🧾 Export Your Services (Milano) 1. Go to Main menu → Reports → Menu → Listings. 2. Open Service. 3. Click Print → Export → Text (Comma). 👤 Export Your Staff (Milano) 1. Go to Main menu → Reports → Menu → Listings. 2. Open Staff. 3. Click Print → Export → Text (Comma). 📅 Export Your Bookings (Milano) 1. Go to Main menu → Appointment book. 2. Click the Report button on the right (not the Reports item in the main menu). 3. Select Future bookings → All clients. 4. Choose a starting date (e.g., start of this year — we can import your whole history). 5. Click Print → Export → Text (Comma). 📁 Find Your Exported Files 1. Go to Menu → Links → Exported reports. 2. Open the folder path shown (e.g., C:/MilandoDBSSRV/Clients/Data/REPORTS). 3. Copy the recently exported files. 📤 Send Your Files - Email the exported files to support@salonmonster.com, or - Ask us for an upload link, or - Send them via the in-app messenger. We’ll import your data and confirm when everything’s ready. ✅ That’s it!
